AURICULOTHERAPY
The ear, thanks to its rich innervation and vascularity, has very important connections, both direct and reflex, with the autonomic nervous system and the brain.
Auriculotherapy is a method of oriental origin, Chinese and Indian, analyzed and developed in the West in the 1950s, based on the principle that all the organs, systems and functions of the body are reflected on the human ear. In case of dysfunctions, by stimulating these areas with mechanical, chromatic or laser stimulations, the restoration of the natural psychophysical balance is favored. Dr. Ambrosi was a student of Raphael Nogier and developed the method on numerous trips to the East.
Auriculotherapy is effective as a complementary therapy in physiotherapy, osteopathy and chiropractic, combined with other forms of treatment, used in the presence of joint, lumbar, cervical, dorsal pain and in acute painful pathologies such as muscle strains, sciatica, liver and kidney colics, headaches, trauma.
It is applied in the treatment of menstrual disorders, digestive problems, insomnia, skin problems, states of stress and anxiety, smoking addiction, and others. The role of auriculotherapy is often useful in helping in the treatment of pain.
